It was our Annual Men's Open Pairs on Saturday and 162 players took part. The course was in excellent condition and it showed in the scoring! Congratulations to Rick Towse and Rob Hoggarth who scored 45 points and only won on countback from Mark Ringland and Jean Francois Cottanceau. In fact the pair were little more than solid after 12 holes and just 2 under par, the next 6 holes saw them pick up an incredible 7 shots!! Prizes 3rd to 7th were all on 44 points with 8th place on 43 points.

Congratulations to Kenwick Quartet Vicki Halmshaw, Jill Harrington, Allison Cook and Vice Captain Carol James who kept everyone waiting as the last group on the course pipped the rest with a score of 90 points To win the 2018 Ladies Am Am. Birdie Dawson and her team of non members finished second with 89 points!

Congratulations to our Club Champion Sam Done who shot 66 & 69 gross and Lee Jaines who shot nett rounds of 70 & 64 to win the Flockton Trophy. They are both pictured below with Golf Legend and President of Kenwick Park Eric Sharp

Round Two of the Men's Club Championship is well underway. 2013 Runner Up Graham Sykes pictured holing out well on the 1st green (his 10th) from 10ft!! Graham's playing partner is the man who pipped him to the title 5 years ago, Ron Irwin, also pictured lagging upto the hole on their 10th.

We have had a fantastic 1st round in the Men's Club Championship. 124 people entered, 1 man beat the course record (Sam Done 66!!) and 42 players progress to round 2 tomorrow morning! Jamie Moore leads the nett competition after a round of nett 66
