Michael Langford

Michael joined the Kenwick Park team in 2000 and turned Professional in 2002. He flourished under the guidance of renowned previous Club Professional Eric Sharp and in 2006 was named the PGA Trainee of the year beating off competition from around 300 other trainees around Europe and the British Isles.

This fine achievement lead to Michael and Paul becoming 'Joint' Head Professionals at Kenwick Park in 2007.  He was honoured to be named Lincolnshire PGA Captain in 2010 and 2018 and won the Stoke Rochford Pro Am in 2013 with a score of 67.

Michael is now the Director of Golf and is tasked with overseeing all golfing activities as well as the day to day running of the Golf Club. He can still be found in the Professionals Shop to offer help and advice on all golfing matters.

Paul Spence

Paul has been at Kenwick Park since 1996 and in that time he has achieved many things. A former Lincolnshire Amateur county golfer he won the Lincolnshire PGA Order of Merit in 2001 and the Lincolnshire PGA Matchplay champoinship at Stoke Rochford Golf Club since joining the Professional ranks.

Unfortunately injury has limited Paul's exploits on the golf course in recent years but in that time he has excelled on the driving range helping to produce some of Lincolnshire's finest young golfers. Paul is the Lead Coach for the Lincolnshire county juniors and has a growing reputation as one of the finest coaches around.

Paul's pupils include elite Professional's Ashton Turner & Sam Done. If you are looking at improving your golf armed with his Trackman technology, Paul's simple, easy to understand approach could be just the thing for you. Paul is also an NLP Sports Practioner which he uses in his coaching to integrate the body and mind to achieve the best possible results for his pupils.

The Players.......

Ashton Turner

An Honorary Member of the club, Ashton has flown the Kenwick Park Flag around the world firstly as an Elite England Amateur and now as a Touring Professional. He made his European Tour debut in May 2018 at the Sicilian Open.

Ashton has competed in the Open Championship on two occasions.  He debuted at Carnoustie in the 147th Open where he unfortunatley missed the cut.  Ashton avenged that disappointment the following year by once again qualifying at Notts GC and this time making the cut and finishing T-57th at Royal Portrush after rounds of 70, 74, 77 & 69

You can follow Ashton’s progress on his website www.ashtonturner.com

Sam Done

Sam turned Professional off a Plus 4 handicap in September 2020 on the back of a Semi Final appearance in the English Amateur Championship.

A highly decorated County Golfer, his many victories included the Lincolnshire Open in 2017 and 2018.  Sam also represented his England at Under 18 level and was selected for the Men's 'A' squad in 2019.

On just his third start as a Professional Sam recorded his first victory at Glen Gorse GC on the Jamega Tour.  A 10 under par total that included a final round 64 which was a new course record was the perfect start to a promising Professional career.
