Designed by Patrick Tallack and opened in 1992 by ex Ryder Cup Captain Mark James. The course constructed on mature parkland is played over gently rolling terrain, many holes meander through woodland, while on others the golfer must negotiate a series of feature lakes, each of which adds not only aesthetic appeal, but also makes a natural habitat for the many forms of wildlife.

From the championship tees the course presents a formidable challenge to the serious golfer, demanding precise shot making and imaginative strategy, it will thoroughly examine every facet of the golfer’s skill.

From the yellow and red tees the course is less daunting, but there is still the same premium on accuracy and shot selection.

Few courses offer such a wonderful variety in their design; it appears that at Kenwick each one vies with the next to claim the distinction of being the course’s signature hole.
